今日は強風のため予選は明日に延期。
いきなりのウェザーデイです。

雪は降ったみたいだけど、風の影響で雪の付き方（飛ばされ方）にばらつきがありそう。。。

予選は1本勝負。

転けたら点数は出ない。無難すぎても点数は延びない。
第1戦より出場ライダー達のレベルも高いし、チェックした時と違う状況になって難しくなってそうですね。
果たして明日の予選はどうなるか？

天気もよく、いいコンディションでのライダー達のセッションをみたいですね！

The qualifying round is postponed due to strong winds.

As soon as it started, it was a weather day.

The snow has fallen but winds blew all the new snow…

The qualifying round is a one-line match.

If you fall, you can’t get a score. But if you ride too safely you also can’t get a high score.

The applicants were a high level and ground conditions have changed from when I checked.

It looked more difficult… Well, how will it be tomorrow?

I hope to see the riders’ session under the nice weather!

今日からMASTERS OF SNOWBOARDINGです。

朝からエントリーが始まり、世界中から続々とライダーが集まってきてました。

天気は暖まってしまったせいかあいにくのガスで真っ白白。

ゴーグルにワイパーがほしい感じです。（苦笑）

予選会場はここ！

勝つためには、ライン取り・スピード・安定感・エアなど様々な要素が必要。

固めのグシャグシャ雪はかなり手強そうです。

けっこうな急斜面です。

みんないいラインが無いかじっくり探してましたね〜

さて、予選は明日！

ルーカス・デバリなどビックネームもエントリーしてます。

最後にはMt. Rainierも顔を出してくれました。

標高は富士山よりもでかい4392m！

彼は登りたいと言ってます。笑

それにしても大会&スキー場のスタッフ・お客さん・参加してるライダー達がみんなかなりフレンドリー！いい人多くてびっくりです。

コースも急で面白そうだし、たくさん出会いもあるし、新しいところに行くのは大事ですね。

MASTERS OF SNOWBOARDING is starting today.

The entry started from the morning. Many riders gathering from all over the world.
It was warm and really foggy.
I wish I had a wiper on my goggle.

To win the contest, you are required to have different techniques such as picking lines out, speed, stable riding, air techniques etc…

Hard and slushy snow is kind of rough conditions.

It was a steep slope.

Every applicant was looking for a good line.

Tomorrow is the qualifying round!

Big names like Lucas Debari are also entered!
I want the only Japanese rider Yuta to win the contest!

Don’t forget the beer bong!

At last, Mt. Rainier showed its top!
Mt. Rainier is higher than Mt. Fuji and its altitude is 4392m!
That mountain really has a presence.

Yuta said he wants to climb Mt. Rainier.

Anyway, all the staffs of MOS, audience and participants were surprisingly friendly and nice!

There were many good encounters and fun lines.
So, it’s always good to go to a new place.

無事にボーダーもクリアし、Washington州 Enumclaw（イーナムクロー）に到着しました〜〜！
ゆっくり買い物しながら来たから時間はかかったけど、ウィスラーからストレートで運転して来たら約5時間くらい。
ちょこちょこと迷いながら、カーナビではなく地図で旅するのもなかなかいいもんですね。

イーナムクローはクリスタルマウンテンまで1時間くらいの場所にある小さな町。
でも少し歩いてみると、オシャレだし、スーパーも24hだしかなり快適そうです。
そして何と言ってもカナダと比べてビールも安い！嬉しいですね〜。笑

明日は大会受付&インスペクション。
天気はいまいちみたいだけど、いろいろとチェックしてきま〜す！

We crossed the boarder without any problems and arrived to Enumclaw, Washington!
We stopped by to shop on the way there from Whistler so it took more time than usual. Usually it should be about five hours by a car. I liked traveling by car without a car navigation but with the use of a map.

Enumclaw is a small town where it takes one hour to get to Crystal Mountain.
It’s a cool and cozy town. There is a 24-hour super market too.

And beers are cheaper than that in Canada!

Tomorrow will be admission and inspection.
The weather forecast is not good but I’ll be there to check it out!

明日から約一週間アメリカトリップしてきます。

目的地はワシントン州のクリスタルマウンテン。
ビックマウンテンの大会、MASTERS OF SNOWBOARDINGに雄太が参戦します。
今回こそ賞金GETすると気合い入ってますよ。（笑）

大会以外でも少し山を登って撮影できたらいいな〜！

MASTERS OF SNOWBOARDING

世界中のトップライダーが集まるカナダのバックカントリー。
その広大なフィールドでいち早く活動し、世界中にその名を轟かせた日本人ライダー 布施 忠。

『より多くの人達にスノーボードの楽しさを伝えたい』

『国内のライダー達にも、もっと世界へ飛び出していってほしい』

そんな熱い気持ちから、全国の個性あふれるライダー達と共に、
２００６年 HEART FILMSを結成しました。

自らが世界への架け橋となり、未経験のライダー達へ経験を伝え、
新しい環境を作っていく。これはそう簡単なものではありませんでした。

カナダに住むのはもちろんの事、スノーモービルの扱い方や地形の見極め方
など、自分が滑る時間を削ってまで他のライダーをリードしてきたのは、
日本のスノーボード業界全体の底上げにもつながる思いがあったからです。

常に先頭に立って走り続けた布施 忠は、５年という月日をかけ、それぞれのライダーが持つ技量一つで世界へ飛び立てる環境を作ることが出来ました。４作目の”zero” 最新作”vol.４“に出演を果たした若手ライダー達も、さらなる上を目指して挑戦し続けています。

この環境を作ることが出来た今、布施 忠は、自身がオーナーでもあるYES.NOW.BOARD、そして、さらなる新しいチャレンジをするために、HEART FILMSを卒業します。

これからも布施 忠の活躍、そして、バトンを渡されたライダー達が盛り上げていくHEART FILMSの動きにどうぞご期待ください。

Backcountry in Canada entices so many top snowboarders from all over the world.
From that extensive field, a Japanese rider achieved the world wide prominence in the snowboard industry.
A Japanese professional snowboard rider named Tadashi Fuse.

“Wanting to convey the enjoyment of snowboarding to more people”
“Wanting Japanese riders to be showcased in the international snowboard scene”

From such enthusiasm, he created HEART FILMS in 2006 with unique riders from all over Japan.

It was not an easy job to create a new environment. He carried his experience to young riders and united inexperienced riders and the international snowboard scene by becoming a bridgebuilder…

He moved to Canada and showed his way to use a snowmobile and his innovative eyes for lines and terrain to other riders by sacrificing his own riding time. This is because he wanted, and believed, that such things will lead to pushing the Japanese snowboard industry.

Tadashi Fuse has always been leading the riders. In the five years, he has set up the environment for each rider to go for the international snowboard scene with their own styles and skills.
All those young riders, who appeared on the fourth DVD -“HeartFilms ZERO” and the newest DVD -“HeartFilms vol.4”, are trying to attain a higher state.

Tadashi Fuse has achieved his goal as the HeatFilms founder, therefore, to move on to the new stage and to focus on YES.NOW.BOARD, he will be leaving HEART FILMS.

Please give continuous support to our new HEART FILMS’ young riders as well as Tadashi Fuse’s future endeavours.

たまたまウィスラーへ戻る時に見れたきれいな夕焼け。

真っ赤赤で、すごかったな〜、、、

できるだけいい場所から写真を撮りたくて全力でした。笑

興奮するものには自然に気合いが入るもんですね。

撮るタイミングが限られていてきびしかったけど、

次回のチャンスはモノにしないと！

イギリスのスノーボードマガジン、whitelinesに、Heart Films vol.4が紹介されています。

なんと５つ星！
いや〜びっくり。嬉しいですね。

これからも多くの人に見てもらえたら最高ですね！

2011.01.22Update

これはちょっと前になるけど年末の映像です。
パークもバックカントリーも、シーズン入って初めてはなんかドキドキ。
いろいろと思い出したし、これから始まるというのも実感。
何事も全力で楽しまないと！ですね。

今日は新しいポイントへ！

朝の天気は真っ青な晴天！ 『おぉっし今日もいい感じ！』 、、、と思いきや、

すごい勢いで怪しい雲が広がってきました。

天気予報は晴れだったけど、山の天気は変わりやすいってヤツですね〜

やっぱり自然には勝てません。。。

幻想的な景色は見れたけれど、この後は真っ白白。 デコボコも分からず大変です。（汗）

それにしても今日のユウタはスットボケてましたね〜。。。

モービルで後ろから追ってくるはずのユウタがなかなか来ないな〜と待っていたら、

他のクルーをHEARTクルーだと思って手前でずっと待っていたみたい。

ありえません。

4人中3人は『北はあっちでしょ』っていっているのに、1人自信満々に南を指していたり、

だんだん発言に信用がなくなってきましたね〜？！（笑）

さてこれからまた降りそうですよ〜！ パウパウに期待！

今シーズンいい感じに雪が降っているウィスラーブラッコム。
北米最大といわれるリゾートだけあって山がでかい！（2000m級の山が2つ）
1年あっても滑りきれないほどの懐の深さ。
遊ぶところもいっぱいです。

12月からガンガン滑っているユタカ・ユウタ・トモの映像です。
