『夏だ！』『キャンプだ！』という事で悠とマウンテンバイク キャンプに行ってきました。

今回のキャンプでのミッションは3つ。
１つは冬に撮影していたポイントは夏どんな感じなのかチェックすること。
２つ目は冬に無くしてしまった片方のスノーシューを見つけること。
そして３つめはメインのマウンテンバイクのキャンプ！

目的地は住んでいるウィスラーから車で約１時間のドライブ。
途中ゴロゴロと岩が転がっているオフロードを突き進み、有名なロードギャップスポットへ到着。

　
It’s summer! Let’s go camping! I went camping with Yu and his friends to Tenquill hut in Pemberton.

This camping trip has three missions.
1st was checking the spots where we were filming in the winter time.
2nd was finding my one snowshoe; I lost it in an avalanche…
3rd was the main thing, camping with mountain bikes.

We drove for one hour to the spot, from Whistler where we live. We got to the famous Hurley road gap, thanks to some off-roading in our truck.

　
　

いや～デカイっすね。。。草ぼーぼーですが存在感は抜群です。
本当にこれを生身の人間が飛んでいくって凄い。ライダー達にリスペクト。
悠はまだまだやる気満々。来シーズンは違う飛びっぷりを見せてくれそうで楽しみですね。

It was huge…respects to riders!
Yu is motivated to jump it again… I’m looking forward to watch his new trick on it.

　

この場所はマッシュエリアだったところ。雪が無い時期は巨大な岩から小さな岩がゴロゴロ地帯でしたね。これが雪が降るといい感じなるのか～〜、、、

There were lots of huge and small rock piles; becoming nice pillows with snow in winter.

　

以前雪崩によって無くしてしまったスノーシュー探しをはじめると、いきなり雄太の水筒を発見！
もちろん中身は数ヶ月前のまま、、、ちょっと見るのが怖いですね。。苦笑
その後もしばらく探しているとラッキーな事にスノーシューも発見！
見つけれるかは半信半疑だったから驚きと嬉しさでいっぱい。

We found Yuta’s thermos right away when we began. It was kind of scary to check the tea inside because it was from a few months ago…
We were lucky, we also found my snowshoe! I was surprised and glad, because I half-doubted if I would.

意外にあっさりと2つのミッションコンプリート！
さて次はメインのマウンテンバイク キャンプ！
