2011年3月11日東日本大震災が起きてもはや3週間がたちます。
私は福島県二本松市に住んでるものです。仕事は18年間横乗りの商売を営んでおります。
その他イベント企画・運営、スノーパークプロデュース業を手がけたりしております。
自然の大地を使わせてもらい様々な環境を作り上げて来ました。
そして1000年に一度という大震災に直面しこれから先の未来も失ったようでした。
震災から月日が経ち一日一日の情報、報道、ニュースなどを見ていると正直、
復旧復興のレベルではないと思っていました。
でも毎日の暮らしの流れで立上がらなければ先は進まないと思いスタッフと共に会社、
そしてお店の方も稼働することにしました。
地震の影響でお店も事務所も家もあらゆる物が倒れてました。
そして時が止まったかのように街には車も人も大型店も営業していない状態です。
私たちの住んでいるところはそんな被害が無かったとしても、
ガソリンを給油するので6時間以上待ち、最悪の場合は次の日まで待たされる事もあります。
近くのコンビニ、生活食料品店などに商品が入らず何も無い状況が2週間つづいてました。
災害が起きるとすばやくライフラインを復旧するのは分かりますが、
ここまでの災害になると町も人も活気がありません。
しかも福島県は地震、津波、そして原発・・・トリプルパンチです。
私の住んでいる場所は福島第一原子力から直径50キロのところにあります。
国が避難区域としているところの範囲は30キロ、
何かあればあっと言う間に50キロ圏内になると言われてました。
海外報道では80キロ避難区域と警告してます。
日本に滞在している外国人は国からチャーター機を使って帰国するという前代未聞の出来事が、
私の地元で起こっているのです。
岩手県、宮城県は復旧復興に向け、今まさに人と人が力を合わせて進められてます。
しかしながら福島県は例外です。
原発周辺の海岸沿いで被害にあった方達の捜索活動も未だにされていない状況のため、
福島県身元が分かる死者が現在855人、不明者6800人ともっと増えると言われてます。
避難区域にもかかわらず家族を捜しに来ている父親と娘さんがいました。
家も津波にのみ込まれ、絶望的だけどせめて家族の遺体だけでもと、
がれきの中を探している姿をみると原発を憎みます。
毎日毎日ニュースをみては原発の問題、放射能専門家達が番組にて意味の分からん話ばかり、
安全なのかダメなのかも言えないバカみたいなニュース、
視聴者は専門家の話聞いても意味がわかりません。
はじめて聞く名前ばかりです。
(ベクレル・シーベルト・プルトニウム・セシウム・ヨウ素なんだかわからん)
もっとシンプルに言ってくれって感じです。
政治家も毎回おなじみの言葉、体内被ばく・体外被ばくになってもただちに人体には
影響及ばず・・・じゃいつでるの???
じゃこの地域は福島は危ないの?って声を大にして聞いてみたい。
自然が出す放射能もあるみたいだけど、人が作り出した放射能は責任とれって感じです。
本当に全国の人にシンプルに伝わる言葉とは、ここまでは大丈夫。
これが出たらダメって言ってくれたら思いっきり仕事ができるし楽しめる。
そして逃げる準備もできる。
食べ物も同じ、野菜も、水も、牛乳も、すべてシンプルの言い方で伝えてほしい。
安心して食べれる物、安心して観光に来れる場所、安心して遊べるリゾートにならなければ
福島県は見捨てられてしまう。
これこそ風評被害です。もうすでに起きてますがね。
以前、福島県民が県外に行くと嫌なまなざして見られるみたいです。
県外のビジネスホテルに宿泊しようとしたらそのホテルに断れたと聞きました。
放射能でね。
今年から進学のため東京に手続き行った家族に対しあの迷惑な福島と言われたらしいです。
計画停電と放射能みたいです。
そして海外から支援物資を送りたくても 福島には届けられないとカナダいる友達が言われたそうです。
(FEDEX)本当やめてもらいたい。県民差別です。
でも福島県の人、東北の人はみんな優しいから国を信じてるから、
誰もぐだぐだ文句を言う人はあまりいません。でも怒ったら怖いです。
早く原発問題を解決してください。
そして私たちはこの大震災と放射能問題を抱えて福島で生きて行かなければなりません。
そして前を向いて上を向いて進んでいかなければなりません。
今自分達が 出来る事と言ったら支援物資活動です。
被災者の方に日本全国、海外から送られて来た支援物資を届け一日でも早く復旧復興に
向けがんばってもらいたくこの活動をはじめてます。
ただ一つ言える事は復旧復興って簡単に言えるけど被災地を見たら正直長期化になると思います。
3週間たった今私の聖地でもあるサーフポイント南相馬市北泉サーフポイント被災地に行って来ました。私は言葉を失いました。天災での被災地、天の神がリセットしたかのように跡形も無い北泉、坂下、カラス、右田のポイント、周辺の住宅も何もありません。
1000年に一度の震災・・・天にここまでしなくてもいいのではと私はつぶやいてしまう。
そして南相馬市と相馬市に支援物資を届けたあと相馬市にある
サーフショップゼウス西大輔に会いに行きました。
サーフ ショップゼウスはギリギリのところまで津波が押し寄せたそうです。
でもその先から跡形もありません。大輔はカゲスカのローカル海が大好きな男です。
いち早くここでサーフィンをしたいと言ってます。
だから住み続けると・・・私も同じ思いです。
でも現実を受け止めてこれから前に進むしかありません。
絶対に復活しなければ人生楽しく行けません。贅沢など望みません普通の生活に戻したい。
ただそれだけでいいのです。
そして全国から心のこもった支援物資が届けられてます。
その物資を被災者に届け、そして日本人の頑張る底力を出していきましょう。
ここからが本番です。
自分の出来る事 は福島県に沢山の人に来てもらい、楽しんでもらうことです。
その為に地元福島県の私たちが動かなければ何も復旧復興とは言えないと思う。
福島県はアクションスポーツの県です。これからの時代をしょって行くのは若者です。
その若者が楽しめる環境とは福島にすばらしい波、山、
地形(サーフィ ン・スノーボード・スケートボード)が沢山あります。
いち早く全国世界から人を集めて楽しんでもらえる事を考えて実行して行きたいと思います。
もちろん 国が定めた放射能区域外で開催しそれでも何かあったら国の責任です。

It has already been three weeks since the Tohoku earthquake on March 11, 2011.
I live in Nihon-matsu city in Fukushima. My job is running a snowboard/surfing/skateboarding shop for the last 18 years. I also produce snow events and snowboard parks.
I have been creating in various environments thanks to mother earth.
It was like I lost all my future when I met the tremendous earthquake which only occurs once in a thousand years.
Day by day, watching and listening the broadcasts or news makes me feel like we can not likely recover. Honestly.
But I thought I should do what I was doing in my daily life before the earthquake, or we will never be able to restore our town. Then, together with my staff, we reopened the shops and our company.
From the earthquake, many things crashed and scattered about on the floor in our shop and office and also in our houses.
In town, there were no people, car or opened shops. It was like time had stopped.
Our place was with relatively little damage, but we had to wait for six hours or until the next day in the worst case for gas.
Convenience stores or grocery stores haven’t had any new food for two weeks.
People and the town is lifeless.
Fukushima is now suffering from the triple damage. The earthquake, tsunami and the leakage of radioactivity.
My town is within the 50 Km radius from the Fukushima nuclear power plant.
Japan’s government has set the evacuation zone to 30 Km.
It is rumored that if something happens, the evacuation zone will soon be expanded to 50 Km.
In many foreign countries, they advise their own citizens in Japan against all travel within 80 km of the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant. Some foreigners went back to their own country by their
government’s chartered flight. The unheard-of thing is this is happening in my home town.
Iwate and Miyagi prefecture is now working together towards recovery.
But Fukushima is not.
The search and rescue operation around the coast of the nuclear power plant has not started yet.
Therefore 6800 people are still missing now and 855 people are dead.
It is said it is still increasing.
A father and his daughter were in the evacuated zone to search for their family.
Their house was engulfed by a tsunami. It’s hopeless but they wanted to find at least some bodies so they looked for them in the wreckage.
When I see them I had animosity against the nuclear power plant.
This critical issue is on TV every single day. Many radiation experts say something but it doesn’t make any sense to me. No one tells us what is dangerous and what is safe.
(People don’t know technical words like “becquerel”, “sievert”, “plutonium”, “cesium” and “iodine”…) Please explain more simply.
Politicians are also keep saying the same things, “Internal exposure or external exposure of current radiation doses have no affect on the human body RIGHT NOW…” well, then when?
I want to ask them out loud “Is Fukushima really a dangerous place?”
There is radiological material from nature, but the artificial radiological material should be all the blame.
I want the government to convey us a simple word such as “It’s OK up to right here”, or “It’s dangerous if this value is detected”, so that we can understand. Then we can work hard until then and also can be prepared for evacuation.
Same as food. Vegetables, water and milk… Please let us know in simple words.
Fukushima might be abandoned if we don’t have safe food, safe place and safe resort area.
Fukushima has been hit hard by the rumours already.
I heard that when the Fukushima residents went outside of Fukushima, people look at them with disgust in their eyes. Someone was refused accommodation by a hotel because of the possible radiation.
A family went to Tokyo for admission procedure for their kid’s school and someone said to them “That trouble-some Fukushima…” Because of the radiation and blackout.
One of my friends in Canada tried to send relief goods to Fukushima and he was told by FedEx that they can not deliver any goods to Fukushima.
PLEASE! It’s prefecture discrimination.
BUT, residents in Fukushima or all of the Tohoku people are very gentle and believe in the government at the moment, so not many people complain. But once we get steamed up, it’ll be scary.
I hope this nuclear plant issue will be solved as soon as possible.
Now, we have to live in Fukushima with the earthquake and radiation issue.
And make positive progress.
Focusing on what we can do now is to deliver relief goods to the affected area.
I started this act to support the speedy recovery of the earthquake victims by delivering relief goods from all over Japan and over seas.
When I saw the affected area with my own eyes, I really felt that the recovery or re-establishment is going to be a long standing struggle.
I visited my sacred surfing point Kitaizumi, Minami-soma shi, three weeks after the tsunami. I couldn’t say a word. It was a mere shadow of what it used to be. It was like the gods reset the ground. Sakashita, Karasu, Migita… and all the houses were gone.
The earthquake only occurs once in a thousand years… You didn’t have to do this… I murmured to the sky.
I delivered the relief goods to Minami-soma shi and Soma shi, we went to a surf shop ZEUS to see Daisuke Nishi.
The tsunami came to close for comfort. Nothing was left across the tsunami line.
Daisuke loves the local sea of Kagesuka. He wishes to surf here again. So he says he will stay and live there.
I’m in the same spirit. We have to accept reality as it is and move forward.
To enjoy life, we have to recover. We just want our normal life back.
That is it.
Many people all over Japan send us their thoughtful relief goods.
We deliver those to the affected area. Let’s show our great strength!
The real part has just started. We hope many people will come to enjoy Fukushima. So we, the local Fukushima people can make a movement or this town will not be restored.
Fukushima is known as a place of action-sports. The young people will play a role in the age to come. There are beautiful oceans and waves, mountains and natural terrain that these young people can have fun with. (Surfing, Snowboarding and skateboarding)
We will seek the fastest way for the people all over Japan to come and enjoy Fukushima.
Of course we will act outside of the radiation-caution area where it is government-certified.
If something happens, it will be the government’s responsibility.
Fukushima won’t let the earthquake get us down! Fukushima will over come!

The situation is worse than I know from seeing it in TV…
The message really tells us his feelings.
I have been to Fukushima many times and had a great time there enjoying snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing and more. We also shoot there.
Yummy food and sake, great hot springs, beautiful mountains and the sea and the friendly people…
I have many memories about Fukushima.
Now, people in Japan are going to get relief.
I will do anything I can from Canada.
